Ellis C. Gill, M.D.

Dr. Gill graduated from Texas A&M University in 1966 and from the University of Texas-Southwestern Medical School in Dallas in 1970. Dr. Gill completed his internship and residency at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas, TX from 1970-1974. The last year of his residency was primarily devoted to teaching as Chief Pediatric Resident.  Dr. Gill was board certified in Pediatrics in 1976.

Dr. Gill has been practicing in general Pediatrics since 1976. During that time he has served as Chief of Pediatrics at St. David’s Hospital and has held several offices for the Seton Physician Health Network, currently serving as Chairman of the Physician's Council. He is also a Consultant/Reviewer for the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners and also provides general pediatric services for the Texas State School for the Visually Impaired. He also holds a Fellowship in the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Gill is active in Emmaus Community, Austin (Tarrytown United Methodist Church) and volunteers at the Westminster Nursing Home.   Interests include Scuba diving, golf, tennis, Oenology, and Web surfing.

Dr. Gill has three children and one grandchild.
